Miami-Dade County Office of Countywide Healthcare Planning (OCHP)

OCHP provides leadership in countywide health planning. The duties and responsibilities of OCHP are to provide technical support and analysis to improve the countywide health service system. OCHP's mission is to inform County government, healthcare leaders, and community stakeholders, through research and analysis, of best practices and new strategies that will enhance access to effective health and health-related services; improve the viability of Miami-Dade County’s health care delivery system and financing strategies; improve the health and well-being status indicators for Miami-Dade County residents; and increase individuals’ capabilities to effectively manage their own health.
