Goal: Increase community access to healthy foods, particularly in underserved communities and high-risk populations, by promoting efforts to provide fruits and vegetables through farmers’ markets, including farm-to-institution
Strategies:
- Improve and enhance accessibility and availability of healthy foods through direct marketing opportunities, farmers’ markets and community gardens combination program, and participation in the Miami-Dade Healthy Food Hub Initiative
